Hey guys, there’s been a lot of uncertainty regarding the recent U.S. tariffs. The good news is that the de minimis exemption is still in effect. We’ll briefly explain what that means below.
The de minimis exemption refers to the minimum value of the goods below which no duties, taxes, and tariffs are collected by the Customs of the recipient country. For the U.S. the de minimis threshold is set at $800 USD and is still in effect. Orders under that amount are not subjected to any duties, taxes, and tariffs.
The U.S. administration has taken steps to gradually remove the de minimis exemption for packages from certain countries, starting with Hong Kong and China on May 2nd 2025. It’s unclear if other countries will be added or when (if that happens we’ll update the currently presented information accordingly). Since we are located in the EU, the de minimis exemption is still in effect for the packages we ship and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
To briefly summarize the above, orders made on this website under $800 will not be subjected to any duties, taxes, and tariffs by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). You can expect to receive your orders hassle-free.
